This is a miscellaneous bundle containing letters from mine adventurers such as John Edwards and William Harris, engineers such as Edward Bull and Thomas Dudley, and four letters from Zaccheus Walker at Soho to James Watt in Cornwall. It also contains various memoranda and papers relating to the performance of various engines, including an experiment carried out by William Murdock on a boiler at Chacewater mine.
