| Description | Various bills and accounts for castings, engine parts etc. sent to Boulton & Fothergill, Matthew Boulton and Boulton & Watt by the Shropshire iron master John Wilkinson. These were originally kept in smaller bundles, namely 1771—1776, 1775, 1776—1777 and 1777—1778, “Copies of Accounts to July 1776” and “Doubles of Accounts.” However the bills were found in such a disordered state that it proved impossible to reconstruct the original bundles, so they have been arranged in chronological order. |
