| Description | Memoranda, sketches, transcripts, calculations etc. concerning various steam boats, from 1816 to 1830. The bundle contains information on a wide variety of boats, both those fitted with Boulton Watt & Co. engines and those with other manufacturers’ engines, including a transcript of a pamphlet published in 1737. Many of the items are in William Creighton’s hand, and the dates of these items roughly spans his tenure as head of the Drawing Office. |
