| Description | Letters from James Watt Jr. to William Creighton, head of the Drawing Office, from July to December 1821. Letters from the first half of 1821 will be found in the previous bundle. The bundle also includes a letter addressed to William Murdock Jr., which was docketed by Creighton.
This bundle and the previous one were examined by Henry Hazleton in the 1890s, as they have card covers in the same style as the previous large bundles. From discolouring on the top and bottom letters, it appears that Hazleton was preserving a division that had been made by Creighton. |
