Two 35 horse power side lever boat engines. Engines formerly 30 horses, fitted in the Eclipse.
Cross-section of the boat and engine room, cross-section of the boat at the back of the boiler, longitudinal section of engine and engine room, plan and section of the engine platform, plan of the engine deck beams, plan of the engine sleepers etc. - reverse drawings made in the London office; section and plan of boiler - partially coloured original and reverse drawings made in the London office, with press copy; paddle wheel and shaft etc. - partially coloured drawing. The boiler and paddle drawings bear letter codes.

For the United Margate Steam Boat Co. These engines were originally 30 horse engines fitted in the Margate steamer Eclipse, and they were increased to 35 horses when they were fitted in the New Eclipse in 1829-1829.
