Two 15 horse power side lever boat engines, with 23½ inch cylinders, 2½ foot strokes.

Cross-section of the boat and engines and plan of the engine room and boiler - reverse drawing; paddle wheel and shaft - coloured direct copy; sketch elevations and plan of boiler (2 sketches stuck on 1 sheet); small sketch outline of boiler; sketch of wheels and shafts (also used for Darthez Bros., 1823 [Pf. 1155]). All the drawings except those of the boiler bear letter codes.
Also the following later items: sections and plan of second boiler - original and reverse drawings, May 1832. These drawings bear letter codes.

For the Swiftsure Steam Boat Co. The boat was used for London to Gravesend services. Swiftsure's drawings were kept in the same book as those for the Moerdyck ferry boat [see Portfolio 5/1266].
