Reverse plan and sections of the engine and boiler houses, cistern and chimney. All the drawings bear letter codes.

For Peter Atherton and company. Cotton mill, Liverpool. Atherton delayed the engine in Jun. 1796, and a memorandum sent to James Lawson in May 1798 [Business Letter Book Jul. 1797-Jul. 1798] makes it clear that the engine had been countermanded. Atherton was charged £50 for the materials that had already been prepared.
