6 horse power independent crank engine, with 16 inch cylinder, 2 foot stroke, parallel motion, cast iron beam, cast iron connecting rod.

All the drawings bear letter codes.

For Fletcher Son & Fearnall. Pumping engine, ship yard, London. The concern later became Fletcher Fearnall & Co. According to the Engine Order Book No. 9, this engine was ordered in 1822. This engine was omitted from the Catalogue of Old Engines.
