Diagonal frame (A frame), parallel motion for 2 horse engine - coloured reverse drawings; sketch of fly wheel proposed for 2 horse engine; sketch of cold water pump for 2 horse engine sent by Gilbert Hamilton to William Middleton, with note by Middleton on the pattern added to the sheet; connecting rod and crank for 2 and 3 horse engines - coloured drawing; cylinder, steam case, slide valve etc. for 3 horse engine - coloured drawing. All the drawings except the fly wheel and pump sketches bear letter codes.
