For the proprietors of Walker Colliery - Charles Brandling of Gosforth House (executor of the late William Ord of Fenham), William Peareth of Usworth House, Durham and Henry Utcirk Reay of Burnhall, Durham. Winding engine, for pit known as Lawson Main or Walker Hill, Walker Colliery. This was the third engine for Walker Colliery and is usually referred to as "Walker Hill". No book appears for this engine in John Southern's List of Books. Boulton & Watt also made an iron waggon railway for this colliery.
