40 horse power double-acting crank engine with 32 1/3 inch cylinder, 6 foot stroke. Engine countermanded and not supplied.

Coloured original and coloured reverse drawings of pedestal for cylinder and working gear, air pump and condenser and cistern, transverse section cold water cistern showing eduction pipe and feed pump; sketch plan of the premises on tracing paper showing engine house, rooms, basin, road etc.; plan of the premises showing "new 40 horse and old 50 horse" engines, plaster mill, smoothing, polishing and grinding shops etc.; coloured plan of the premises showing "proposed 40 horse" and 50 horse" engines, plaster mill, smoothing, polishing and grinding shops, 80 horse engine etc.; drawing of "First Motion wheels of 45 horse".
