For the South Devon Railway. Engines and vacuum pumps for atmospheric railway. This was the second batch of engines ordered for the South Devon Railway. The first pair of this order (GC and GD) was intended for Totnes and the second pair (GE and GF) was for the Torquay branch. However the railway abandoned atmospheric working and the engines were countermanded before any were completed.
