Original Portfolio or 'Book' No. 810. Catalogue of Old Engines p. 164.
For Matthew Robinson Boulton, "Soho New Mint". The drawings for the engine were kept in a separate Book, No. 805. This and the Book of buildings and machinery drawings, No. 810, were given to Matthew Robinson Boulton on 13 Jan. 1836. Boulton does not appear to have had any copies made for the engine firm or returned any of the reverse drawings; therefore what remains is mainly rough drawings, sketches and drawings for machinery components. According to the Drawing Office Index, the main sets of drawings were given to Thomas Jones Wilkinson on 14 Jun. 1847.
