For James Watt & Co., "Soho Mint", Soho Foundry. When the Soho Mint at the Soho Manufactory, then owned by M. P W. Boulton, was demolished in 1850, James Watt & Co. purchased one of coining presses and set it up at Soho Foundry. This sole press is referred to as "Soho Mint" on these drawings, but it is not clear if it was ever set to work. This press was later incorporated into the new mint established by James Watt & Co. in 1860.
