The sheet bears a letter code.

For Young & Grieve, ordered by John Grieve. Saw mill, Fisherrow, near Musselburgh, Edinburgh. Grieve was also agent for Sir John Hope, and the Catalogue of Old Engines erroneously says that he ordered this engine for Hope. The engine was sold to Armstrong & Co., timber merchants, Newcastle upon Tyne, Northumberland, in 1813.
