Two 175 horse power oscillating engines, each engine with two 43½ inch cylinders, 2½ foot strokes. Engines originally built for Eurotas.

The drawings were made in the London office.

For H. M. Navy. The Simoom was built on the Clyde by Napier. The engines were originally made for the frigate Eurotas.
