Docketed "States his indentures of apprenticeship to have expired on the 18th inst., and wishes to enter upon another engagement. Memorandum of terms proposed to him 26 Apr. 1829 and then accepted by him. Agreement for 5 years at £75 the 1st and 2nd years, £80 the 3rd year, £85 the 4th and 5th years. In consequence of the vacancy occasioned by the discharge of Mr. John Dawn, Mr. John Thomas succeeded to his situation 13 Aug. 1832, when the remaining term of the above agreement was relinquished and he entered into a new one for five years at £100, £105, £110, £115 and £120." |
