DescriptionWith a few lines from my father. The last of his writing to me.
[TC : He has been trying to settle Watt's father's accounts with the town of Greenock but there have been difficulties with the books and copies of accounts. Money still owed to James Watt of Greenock. The shop stock is sold. Watt's father is well but his memory seems entirely gone].
[James Watt of Greenock: He is glad to hear they are well. Thomas Cochrane has been sorting out the accounts and Jean Cochrane will keep a note of money that comes in].
