The letters were not numbered.
They letters have a docket by James Watt with the name of the correspondent and the date, but there are no summaries.
Any summary in square brackets has been given by the cataloguer.
One letter had been removed from the packet, perhaps for an exhibition, and had not been returned to the bundle. It had been numbered as JWP C1/17 when collected in 1994. It has now been replaced in this packet. |
