| Description | Bundle of nine letters from John Dalrymple to James Watt, including two packets of black ink for copperplate engraving, 1791-1792.
The letters were numbered in pencil in 1987. The folds of 'no. 1' a are discoloured by black ink from the two packets which were previously wrapped with the letter.
They have been placed in chronological order and re-numbered. |
