25 December 1815. Have not received the fowls he sent.
28 December 1815. Mrs Watt has sent off parcel of Muslin etc., but having a bad cold, cannot write. The fowls arrived safe.
10 January 1816. Am glad he has so far settled with Mr Rogers. Have received Map & valuation of Kinnerton Township. Desire in making out his acc[oun]t ag[ains]t me to charge Stonehouse etc. rents as if occupied. Am willing to allow an abatement to tenants but query how much per cent. To lessen the sowing of corn. Query if any old wethers at Stonehouse which could be sent here.
15 January 1816. From James Watt jr. (Soho) and James Watt: J.W. junr. about the offer of Lord Oxford's lands. Declines them, with an addition by myself.
