11 June 1806: To E.A.Powell (Rhayader). Cannot depart from having the fine levyed on cottage bought from him.
18 June 1806: To James Crummer (——). Have been in about grates. Letter from Mr Davies from Worcester about Badland business. Had not got G.'s maps of Badland. Voters for Mr Ward.
21 June 1806: To James Crummer (——). Have heard nothing of maps of Badland. P. Lewis sol[icito]r will not take Bill at a month in pay[men]t & I suspect will not give up timber. Have got copy of Powell's examination but not of order. Canal Bills.
25 June 1806: To James Crummer (——) : Titles of Badland cleared. I have agreed to pay up the ¾ rent due by tenant, deducting outgoings. Mr D. is in a way of agreeing for Tycwtta. Has not got much done about Kinnerton. Ab[ou]t warning a[gain]st tenants on those farms.
27 June 1806: To James Crummer (——) : Send D[ra]ft value £1,800 to pay Kinnerton. Cheese & Davies claims on that money. Mr D. has not yet got all necessary titles from L[or]d O[xford]'s agents. Do not know if Badland paid yet. Votes for Mr Ward. Afraid we cannot set off on Tuesday. Enquiry after estate near Presteigne.
28 June 1806: To James Crummer (——). Think we must delay our setting out till Wednesday. Have ordered the china. Have not got copy of order of Powell's removal.
