21 October 1806: Our return from our jaunt to Sussex. Approve of rent for Badland etc. let to Mr Newton. Queries concerning transactions at Farms, 1 to 8. Want plans of Badland & Ystrad houses.
23 October 1806: Continuation of queries 9 to 22
04 November 1806: Geese received. 2 more to be sent & some game. How to address parcels to me. Shall send to London for seed ches[t]nuts. Shall plant no more pear trees than mentioned this season. Query if tenant will permit trees to be planted at Badland. Distances of orchard trees; apples & pears should not be intermixed. Appointment to meet James at Worcester. Pritchard's letter. Proposition of P. Lewis about .. ?.. held. Desire him to put £100 to his credit for trouble in purchasing Badland etc. Want to know what tree plants are alive in the nurseries.
