15 April 1808. To Valentine Newton. Have sent off his butter tub. Order for Butter for self & Mrs Short. Wish we had sent dia[mete]r of Boilers instead of contents.
13 April 1808. To James Crummer. Mrs Greatrix will come if you are pleased with her character. Have wrote to Mr Newton that I had sent seedling trees to him. Have also sent his & Owen's empty butter tub.
19 April 1808. To James Crummer. Mrs Greatrix's character. James heard of some land in Kinnerton likely to be sold - to look out for it.
27 April 1808. To James Crummer. With plan for new Back Kitchen for Badland & description. Desire he may communicate it to Mr Newton. Want his account & Gallier's map of Griffiths Kinnert.
15 May 1808. To James Crummer. About Badland Back Kitchen. Newton to prepare stones & boards, scantlings etc. Have received plan of Griffiths Kinnert. Wish to hear about planting & if he has had any thing further about Gilly goitre etc.
