01 February 1810. Approve of plan of Burnthouse allot?d & also of situation of exchanges. Queries about value of them respectively. Bishops consent necessary to these exchanges. Beg he will get on with planting. About Wyeside tenants.
10 February 1810. Exchanges. Mr Bloxland. Object to letting more than 7 years lease & that upon the same terms as Beaumonts. Agree to fence the new allotments; the others to be done by tenant. Refer valuations of rent to him. Do not wish to part with Evans or Smith if they will take land at Wyeside. Shall enquire into Mr Bloxland's character.
15 February 1810.Am satisfied with the proposed exchanges. Mosley's report of Mr Bloxland. Am making for their enquiries about terms of lease. To offer of the small allotment of Burnthouse.
