17 December 1811. To Reverend F. Coke: Refer him to Mr Crummer, concerning my contribution to the poor.
31 December 1811. To James Crummer: My son not returned. Mr Southern gone off ill. Desire him to do for me respecting the poor as as other non resident Landowners do. Advise bringing the rector to a decision about the modus. Query if Mrs Watt's parcel has been received.
08 January 1812. To James Crummer: My son returned from London. Mr Southern still very ill there. Should be glad to receive his & Mrs Crummer's visit to us here. Reminding him of my account.
