31 January 1813. To James Crummer: Receipt of bills value £548. 18[s]. 9[d]. to his credit. Mr Whitaker's letter wanting to purchase Kinnerton Griffiths. About letting farms. Some of terms of lease. Have received parcel supposed to be his acc[oun]t. Price of shawls 6 guineas.
04 February 1813. To James Crummer: Farms of which I do not see any Mem[orandu]m of purchase of Land tax. Error in charging his com[missio]n in 1811. I think it most adviseable to let the farms whether I mean to sell or not. Do not feel disposed to let Llanykiddy & Burnthouse separate. Repairs which may be needed at Badland. Examination should be made of fences, gates & stiles. My son cannot get the plate insured by coach, therefore will send his servant to Embury with it.
