Design for a school for 200 children; built 1818. 1837. There is a note signed by 'C.H.T., architect', which says: 'These buildings are thatched with Reeds and built of Brick. Welch rough stone will be much better — and rough slating if thatch cannot be had, not bad.' Elevation for a school and schoolhouse. nd. c.1838. This is a drawing with watercolour, in the style of the Soho drawing office, possibly by Henry Wright. The heading indicates that the school was to be for 50 boys and 30 girls with a house for the master and mistress. On one of the gables is a foundation stone which reads : 'Founded and Endowed by James Watt. 1838'. The Wattt elephant crest appears on another gable. Plan of the above school. nd. c.1838.
