| Description | 'Hastings 26th Jany. 1832. Dear Sir I have received yours this morn[in]g with the notice, & will attend to it. I think, upon further consideration the box of treasures had better not be sent here; as independent of their bulk, which I was not aware of, I think I shall be at Berkswell in less than a fortnight. May I trouble you to send them to Berkswell; & they are sure to come safe, if sent by the independent Birmm and London Coach, which leaves in the mg at ½ past 6; and if spoken to the Coachman (Truelove) overnight he will leave them at the Bull's Head Meriden. I hope, if any thing comes in your way, such as old tokens, coins, medals &c, Prints, drawings, &c, relating to our county, you will secure them for me. I send tom[or]r[o]w m[ornin]g, a fish, which I beg your acceptance of, & 2 brace of pheasants—they probably will arrive by Independents on Saturday Eg, for Sunday's dinner I am Dear Sir very faithfully yours J.
