The Copper plate of Water Orton Chapel and Bridge is missing. I mentioned this to Mr Sharp but he could not tell where to look for it—he promised however to make enquiry after it, and that, if discovered, I should have it. Under your direction I shall be happy to render any assistance in my power towards the accomplishment of the projected undertaking, and I beg that you will freely command my humble services.
