[Intends embarking for America in ten days. He has forwarded a large case of volcanic specimens to James Watt jr. He passed Limoges but did not visit the mines. He compares the mineral hunter to a locust. He has met an eccentric called Gazulet [or Cazulet], trying experiments on galvanism. He dined with Cazalet and Raimond, who was on his way to the Pyrenees, to manufacture another octavo balloon. He leaves in 6 or 8 days. He will send some American minerals].
