There is a bundle label, written in red ink, as follows: 'Letters from Gregory Watt to William Creighton. 1803 - 1804.' 'No. 1 to 15' and the letters are numbered in red ink.
Many of the letters have pencil ticks and areas of text marked out in pencil and occasionally words are corrected in pencil. This may heve been done by J.P. Muirhead, when planning the memoir of Gregory Watt which he intended to write. |
