I beg to hand your Bank of England Balance, the Particulars taken from the pass-book. The items in red ink have been explained to me.
If any of the remaining four on the debit side proceed from permanent sources if income, I ought perhaps to ascertain what they are, that they may be entered in your books under the proper heads.
Those on the credit side, unless you wish any to come under a distinct column, will be given to Mr. Westley for entry in his Household Cash Book under that of "Miscells. household Expenses." The Branch Bank book shall be sent for on Monday. I am
