| Description | 'Memorandums - London Journey. 28 Oct. 1765.' (This item is a thin notebook with a card cover. On the front cover is written the preceding inscription. On the back cover there is a large 'C'. In the notebook the first page is headed 'Buy for Self' and the first entry reads 'a handsome silk for my wife.' The second page is headed 'Enquires' and the first entry reads 'If any children can be had from any hospital.' There are pages of notes throughout the notebook with names, addresses and general memorandums made in French as well as English. At the back of the notebook there are pages of accounts divided into 'Cash' and 'Credit'. There is also a two page diary, with hand drawn divisions, relating to Boulton's trip to France in November and December 1765.)
