| Description | (This item is a thin notebook with a card cover. On the cover is written the preceding inscription. The notebook contains notes and observations all relating to business in Paris. There are numerous names and addresses accompanied by their occupation, such as; 'Monsieur Cochin, ye guardian of ye Kings designs. He is a fine engraver and of ye Academy' and 'Madame De Lack has a very fine toyshop for gold toys and jewellery.' At the back of the notebook several pages of notes have been ripped out.) |
