| Description | 'November 1st 1797.' (This item is a thin notebook with a card cover. On the cover is written the preceding inscription. The notebook contains memorandums, observations and calculations on various subjects. Enclosed in the notebook are two items. The first is a newspaper cutting of an advert for a book called; 'Observations on the establishment of the Bank of England, and on the paper circulation of the Country. By Sir Francis Baring.' The second item is also a newspaper cutting giving details of various remedies for a 'Broken Shin.') |
