| Description | (This may once have been folded up with Garbett’s letter of 2 Feb. [MS 3782/12/62/142])
Mr. Boulton's compliments to Mr. Capper and Mr. Barker, and acquaints them that he spoke to Mr. Garbett according to his promise, who assur'd him that in the course of next month he shall have stated such things at Edinburgh as he knows will be essential to the interest of his creditors to the extent of more than fifty thousand pounds, and that it is material for his creditors that he should see Carron Co.'s Balance Account at the 31 December last, which he supposes he shall receive in April as usual. He says he shall then be prepar'd to take the sense of a general meeting of his creditors, which he will then call, and doubts not but he shall acquit himself to the satisfaction of . . . and to his own honor.
