| Description | Dear Friend, I was yesterday afternoon at the Dispensary meeting, which was attended by Mr. Hawkes, Mr. More, and Dr. Salt. I had spoke to Dr. Bree, who said he was obliged to you and me for thinking of him, but said it was contrary to his plan to be a physician to the Dispensary; this I did not mention at the meeting. It is utterly impossible for Dr. Kermichael and Dr. Salt to acquit themselves to their satisfaction without farther assistance. I wish to speak with you on the subject when you come to town. I am ever affectionately yours, Samuel Garbett [Edited transcript.] |
