(Dated Monday morning. Includes a small sketch of the inscription for a coin.)
Dear Friend,
I send the enclosed jottings for your correction, and that I may receive anything which occurs to you upon the several particulars.
I hope you have ordered the die to be done near the same size as a sixpence, very little less. Round the head I think should be only: GEO III D·G·REX. The reverse, I think, should be a cypher with a crown. And I fancy from the outward edge or milling there might issue a shading of the points towards the cypher that would have a pretty effect, but N. B. I say thus much merely to tempt you to think of some pretty ornament.
God bless you and preserve you. I am ever yours,
S. Garbett
I think of going to London on Friday about the appeal.
