DescriptionDear Friend,
I have had a horrid headache to day, but I could not deny myself the justice of saying what occurred to me on the attempt that is making by the landed interest in Parliament to discourage the importation of corn in dear times and tho' under a high duty. I have wrote fully to Mr. Russell with a sketch of a petition to the House of Commons, the tenor of which I don't doubt you will approve. I should have thought myself very blameable if I had not on this occasion offered my mite. I hope you will see Mr. Russell.
God bless you and yours. Adieu.
S. Garbett
