Mattw. Boulton Esq
Dear Sir
I am uneasy about your Elbow & want sadly to know what is the matter with it: I wish very much to see you having now every thing ready for you-I only wish to be informed before you set off for I shou'd be miserably disappointed not to be in town at your arrival-therefore if you cannot write yourself set Patty to write for you.
I deliver'd your Message myself to Mr. Jeffries & he express'd himself much obliged to you.
Mr. Watt writes me that he thinks not to come to town this term for that his Health is recruited & wou'd be again endanger'd if he were to come to town that is not my Opinion & I am ready for both of you, but I expect & hope you will come very soon.
Mrs. Vere is gone into Lincolnshire, she is now at Burghley-but left her kind love to you.
I must request one favor of you-no on second thoughts I won't be obliged to you till you oblige me with your Company so adieu. I am ever
most affectionately Yours
C. Matthews
