Dear Sir
Mr. Twigg has been here this moment upon the Subject of Rolling. he says most of the Mills (or rather Masters) have agreed & he beleives they will all agree to advance the price of Rolling-the plated from 15/- to 18/8 & the solid gilt from 6/- to 8/- per Ct. He will write you per this post upon the subject more at large but being very anxious about its taking place immediately he beg'd I wou'd also write you.
I think it a very desirable object if the Rollers can be all securely bound; for the prices are too low.
It is just one oClock so that I have not time either to consult your Son or Mr Kellett. Mr Twigg begs you will not fail giving your opinion in answer to him direct which he will expect on wednesday next.
