Soho 18 Jany 1792 Dear Sir I have seen Mr. Wheeley & he says he can furnish with a Coach that he knows will be the thing; but he expects you will want Harness for another pair of Horses to match your own; 'tho he thinks your own too shabby for the purpose, but that as you think proper. I told him I had no commission from you to enquire about a Coach, but as I beleived it was nearly determined now that you must be Sheriff I expected you wou'd want a Coach for the time & therefore I enquired of my own accord supposing you woud give him a preference if he cou'd accomodate you with a Smart one if not I shoud let you know that you might accomodate yourself before you left Town. he wishes to have a month's notice in order to prepare & paint &c &c. yours very Sincerely J Scale I have guess'd at our Steel Button trade & it looks well-I beleive about £1600-to our Share if no mistake & I hope there is not. the Inlaid & W.
