Albion Mill 1780 to 1799
This is the title recorded in the Inventory compiled by the Assay Office in 1921. Unfortunately the portfolio was subsequently discarded. Under M. R. Boulton's scheme of arrangement the file was placed in Box H. I, and it was still there in 1921. Note that the file now contains no documents earlier than 1784.
The original of the the copy letter 4 and the fair copy of the draft 5 are in the Boulton & Watt Collection; see also the Drawings Portfolios Nos. 152a-c and the Albion Mill Correspondence in the same Collection.
