| Description | Dear Friend, I hope you have had time to read copy of my letter to Mr. Hog of the 26 May last, and the papers No. 1 and No. 4 which I sent with it the 6th ultimo. With this I send you copy of a letter I am forwarding to Mr. Hog, and upon another half sheet a continuation of the sketch I sent you the 6th ultimo of accounts between Glyn & Hallifax and Francis Garbett & Co. I very much wish you to read the letter, as it leaves no room for doubt upon Mr. Hog's character. I have also for your perusal a state of proceedings to obtain from Charles Garbett's separate effects as an individual a reimbursment of the money which has been paid from my Carron stock out of the hands of my assignees (as they are foreigners), and which I will send you in a few days. God bless and preserve you. I am ever your grateful friend, Samuel Garbett
With the letter is the following:
