| Description | Dear Friend, With this I send you: Mr. Hog's answer to my creditors' claim on Charles Gascoigne's seperate effects for the money paid by Carron Company in consequence of my guarantee for Charles Gascoigne's paying for the estate of Dalderse. I do not send copy of the claim, as you have it, and it is common form. Mr. Mackenzie's reply, in which from the bottom of page 28 to the top of 31 being in your name, I beg you will have the goodness to write to Mr. Mackenzie what may occur to you upon reading it and the other letters that were wrote in 1799, of which I send copies. I wish to send what you may now write as to my character with other papers. I am ever, dear friend, affectionately and gratefully yours, Samuel Garbett |
