| Description | Dear Friend, With this I send; Memorandums on five pages, relative to accounts between Glyn & Hallifax and Francis Garbett & Co. And Glyn & Hallifax's account with Francis Garbett & Co. on the 30th last month, founded upon articles produced by Sir Richard Glyn and the late Walter Hog. And a letter from Mr. Hope dated the 8th inst. I should have sent you Mr. Hope's letter sooner, but that I thought it necessary to lose no time in sending a copy of it to Mr. Nichols and Messrs. Stevenson & Salt. Pray return the letter to morrow, but keep the five pages of memorandums and Glyn & Hallifax's account as a record. I apprehend that on examination it will be found Glyn & Hallifax have been paid more than was due to them, principal and interest, but I thought it right first to state their account upon their and Mr. Hog's representation as facts. God bless you. I am ever yours, Samuel Garbett The piece wanting of Mr. Hope's letter was taken at the post office for the overcharged postage.
With the letter are the following:
