DescriptionDear Friend,
About three weeks since, my knees and feet were seized by rheumatick pains so violently as to render me almost a cripple, and I have also felt the weather very uncomfortable, and have therefore determined to retire to Newhall Street for the winter, and am making up my baggage to go there on Friday.
The regular accounts I have lately had of your health hath been highly gratifying to me; most heartily do I wish you above all complaints.
Let me know by the bearer to morrow whether you wrote to Mr. Nicholls. I have not heard from him since I sent you his letter.
God bless and preserve you. I am ever gratefully and affectionately yours,
Samuel Garbett
