Boulton with many thanks for his obliging note mentioning his having sent some books, but which Mr. K. has not received and is fearful lest they may have miscarried. He therefore begs Mr. B. to inform him by what conveyance they were sent, that he may inquire about them.Mr. K. is obliged to Mr. B. for suggesting the volume of Transactions, and Kirwan’s Mineralogy, both which he believes he can get; and he begs also his best thanks to Mr. Watt Junior for his good intentions, and for the note he received from him some days ago with an enclosed letter from Dr. Beddoes, who was just on the point of setting off for Italy to Mr. Lambton, whose death is announced in yesterday’s paper.
