| Description | "William Cheshire’s opinion respecting the apportionment of the Needwood Forest allotments." (2 pcs)
Soho, February 28th, 1809. Respected Sir, I beg to submit to you Mr. Curtis's opinion respecting Mr. Winter's proposition. "I know of no objection to Mrs. Thacker having her proportion of the Common Land on Needwood Forest, and if 8 Acres is the quantity appertaining to her Farm, or if that is the quantity she is desirous of bringing into cultivation, I should think it had better be so adjusted.-Care must be taken that both her and Winter cultivate the land properly, which can only be done on inspection, and I think the sooner they are apprized of the allotments they are to have, the better." Although I have your directions to lay the case of the Needwood allotment before Mr. Curtis, and you have expressed a determination to be guided by his opinion, yet I have considered it proper to wave communicating with your Tenants 'till that opinion be made known to you, and your final instructions are received. Mr. Küchler cannot promise the impression of the corrected Half Pie Die 'till Saturday next. The first die will be taken out of the Lathe this Afternoon; the next, Cottrell hopes, will not be so long in hand. The Saddle House Floor is completed, and all the other objects relative to the Stables are drawing towards the point of completion. It gives me very sensible pleasure to learn from Mr. Mynd that your health is perfectly reestablished. I remain, respected Sir, your obliged and obedient humble Servant, Wm. Cheshire M. Robinson Boulton, Esqr. Bath. [Edited transcript.]
